- Bottlenecks Decide Scale
Parallel capacity only becomes real throughput when shared bottlenecks are removed.
Nominal scale is misleading: many workers do not produce linear gains if they still collide on overlap, merge pressure, or shared compile-and-test chokepoints. Splitting work streams and restructuring the system matter because the bottleneck, not the headcount, sets the pace. #
